Your Swiss company, holding structure and trademark — set up properly from day one.
We incorporate Swiss GmbHs, AGs and holding companies for international entrepreneurs and families, and secure the brand that sits on top of them. One partner, one process.
Swiss incorporation. Deliberate structure. Protected brand.
We focus exclusively on forming Swiss legal entities, designing corporate structures strategically and protecting the brands and intellectual property attached to them.
We don’t simply set up companies — we help our clients build considered corporate structures designed for the long term.
The right incorporation is not an administrative formality. It is a strategic decision.

Don’t just incorporate a company. Build it on the right foundation.
Building a business is like building a house. Premium materials, the best craftsmen and a substantial budget cannot make up for a floor plan that was wrong from the start. A badly designed house does not become a good one simply because you spend more on it.
The same is true of a company. The right legal form, the ownership structure, the choice of canton, the tax environment and your long-term business goals are not details to sort out later. They are the floor plan of your business.
That is why professional advice is not an unnecessary cost. It is one of the most important investments you can make to avoid later mistakes, restructurings and avoidable expenses.
Swiss Corporate Strategy Session
What the session covers
- Analysis of your business objectives
- GmbH vs. AG comparison
- Holding structure options
- Criteria for choosing the canton
- Overview of formation and running costs
- Definition of the next steps
Swiss holding companies
A Swiss holding is not a tax trick; it is a governance decision. It separates ownership from operations, organises succession, and places your participations in one of the most stable legal systems in the world.
- Participation deduction. Dividends and capital gains from qualifying participations (generally at least 10% or a market value of CHF 1 million) are largely relieved from profit tax.
- Double tax treaties. Switzerland’s treaty network can reduce withholding tax on dividends received from abroad.
- Legal and political stability. Predictable courts, institutions and currency — the reason families and groups choose Switzerland.
- Selective intake. We work with clients who want stability and transparency. Structures intended to hide assets are not our business.
Trademark registration in Switzerland and worldwide
Your company name is registered in the commercial register — your brand is not. A registered trademark gives you the exclusive right to it for 10 years, renewable indefinitely.
- Search before filing. We check national and international registers to avoid conflicts before you invest in the brand.
- Correct classification. Goods and services are classified under the Nice system so the protection covers what you actually sell.
- Filing with the IPI. We prepare and file the application and handle all correspondence with the Institute.
- International extension. Through the Madrid system, one application can extend protection to the EU and over 120 countries.

Frequently asked questions
Can a foreigner set up a company in Switzerland?
Yes. Foreign individuals and companies can own 100% of a Swiss GmbH or AG. The only requirement is that at least one person with signing authority is resident in Switzerland; we can arrange this for you.
How long does the formation take?
Once all documents and the capital deposit are in place, the commercial register entry typically takes around two weeks. Preparation time depends on how quickly the shareholders provide their documents.
How much capital do I need?
A GmbH requires CHF 20,000, fully paid in. An AG requires CHF 100,000, of which at least CHF 50,000 must be paid in. The capital remains company money and can be used for business purposes after registration.
What does a Swiss holding company offer?
Since the 2020 tax reform there is no special holding status; holdings are taxed ordinarily. Through the participation deduction, however, income from qualifying participations is largely relieved from profit tax. The effective burden depends on the canton.
How long does trademark registration take?
Filing with the IPI is quick; examination and registration usually take several months. Protection runs for 10 years from filing and can be renewed indefinitely.
Is the first contact free?
Yes. A request sent through the form is free and without obligation. The Swiss Corporate Strategy Session (CHF 750) is a separate service for clients who want a structured analysis of legal form, holding options, canton and costs before they decide.
